Sales & Marketing Executive

Job Criteria
Highest Qualification: Polytechnic Diploma
Relevant Experience: 2 year(s)
Nature of Position: Permanent
• Sales and Marketing duties with suppliers in the region (S.E.Asia)
• To set up credit line, review and analyze financial status of customers and manage credit control in accordance with our company’s requirements
• Coordinate with oversea offices for potential customers of expanding sales of polyolefin and engineering plastics
• Correspondence & coordination with supplier, clients & MC offices including Head Office in Tokyo
• Handle monthly pricing from suppliers to customers / distributors
• Half yearly reviews on sales budget set with suppliers / distributors
• Prepare monthly sales results / reports
• Visit customers with suppliers prior to mold trial
• Identify new customers, create synergy and maximize business opportunity share from the customers
• Support & give sales presentations to customers for new product grade
• Manage and coordinate customer support activities, allowed by the principal, for the assigned customer base and to manage assigned personnel to maximize profit, growth and industry awareness within the boundaries set in the product marketing strategies / objectives.
• Set up a team work with liaison office to support customers in the region.
• Maintain regulatory compliance of activities in assigned areas
• Support principal in realizing sales budget for the assigned customers according to the fixed price list provided by the principal
• Manage outstanding invoices / customers’ complaint to owner
• Setting sales strategy within the sales area
• Responsible for supporting local key account management, planning and maintaining customer contacts.
• Provide local market intelligence and report to Tokyo HQ
• Manage end user relations by coordinating agent activities, technical services, marketing & distribution in assigned areas
 Must be prepared to travel frequently on business trips to countries in Asian region. Entertainment with guests and business associates in the evening is sometimes required.

1) Degree / Polytechnic Diploma holder in any discipline
2) Experience in import & export business (forwarding & trading activities) with knowledge of Plastics and/or Specialty Chemicals preferred.
Japanese language proficiency is an advantage, but not necessary.
3) Proficient in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint; skilful in preparing materials and must have high level of presentation skills to make impactful presentations
4) Excellent communication skills, written & oral
