Responsibilities
  • Key responsibilities will be to manage purchasing activities and optimise supply chain process.This includes:-
  • Source and qualify suppliers
  • Source for alternative/equivalent parts to achieve material cost savings
  • Lead cost negotiations
  • Prepare contractual agreements
  • Prepare material support plan
  • Monitor and push in delivery to meet schedules
  • Analyse and evaluate purchasing data
  • Input standard cost, raise purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders
  • Evaluate vendor performance and benchmarking
  • Conduct quarterly & yearly business reviews with key suppliers
Requirements
  • Degree/ Diploma in Engineering/ Business with 2 years of relevant procurement & planning experience
  • Fresh graduates with the right aptitude will also be considered
  • A team player with strong communication, negotiation & organizing skills
  • Independent, resourceful, meticulous.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft and International Trade will be an added advantage.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
