Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Provide pre- and post-sales technical support to customers and partners.
  • Consult with external customers to interpret customer requirements while providing product application assistance.
  • Provide product demonstrations both in person and via WebEx to potential Partner/Distributors/clients.
  • Assist sales force and partners in closing business through on-site visits.
  • Provide technical training for channel partners.
  • Participate in trade shows, seminars and other industry events.
  • Provide feedback to product development regarding product changes as it relates to customer requirements.
  • Champion the companys product line through product presentations and technical demonstrations at customer and partner sites.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements

Qualifications:

Experience: At least three years in a Sales Engineering or Professional Services/Consulting experience.

Education: Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Engineering. MCSE, A+, Security + certification preferred.

  • Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Windows Server/Desktop OS, Mac OSX, Linux OS, advanced computer networking environments, encryption solutions, and/or back-up solutions.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and issues with an effective manner, both written and in person presentations.
  • Skill in organization and time management.
  • Ability to work independently, and achieving a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to train and influence resources who are not direct reports.
  • Ability to travel as required.
