Responsibilities

Conduct routine analytical activities independently such as physical analysis, chemical analysis, sensory analysis and other analysis as may be required

Operate required lab equipment with confidence, perform basic preventive maintenance, perform equipment verification/calibration, involve in analytical method validation and troubleshoot malfunction of equipment

Control the sensory panel by helping to manage the process and make decisions

Make decisions for approval or rejection of batches

Manage data entry and documentation process

Initiate actions to investigate customer complaint in consultation with relevant team members

Make decisions for rework of materials in consultation with senior QC team members

Raise non-conformations of raw materials and finished goods and follow through with cases

Support other QC team members in need

To take up the critical jobs in consultation with seniors in absence of supervisor or manager

Participate in strategic plan as per the requirements of the company

Requirements

Relevant science like chemistry, fragrances and sensory science

Minimum 2 years’ experience and exposure to sensory analysis is required

Excellent skills in writing technical communications and reports

Knowledge of chemical properties especially in the area of flavours & fragrances

Knowledge of lab safety and GLP

Basic process knowledge of the production areas

Good team player

Salary commensurate with experience

Working hours is 8:30am-5:30pm, Mon-Fri.
